- We do NOT read the contents of your files, messages, or notifications
3. DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT
We want to be clear about what we do NOT collect:
- We do NOT upload your photos, videos, or other media files to any server

- We do NOT collect your location data
- We do NOT collect your device identifiers for tracking purposes (except as required by ad services, see section 6)
4. DATA THAT STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE
The following data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to our servers:
4.1 Cleaning History
- A local log of cleaning actions (e.g., "Deleted X junk files") is stored only on your device
- This history is visible to you in the app's Settings section
- This data is not sent to us or any third party
- You can clear this history at any time through the app Settings
4.2 App Settings and Preferences
- Your preferences (e.g., which modules are enabled, notification settings) are stored only on your device
- These settings are used solely to customize your app experience
- Settings are stored using Android's SharedPreferences and are not synced to any server
4.3 Storage Snapshots
- For the storage forecast feature, free-space data is stored locally to show trends over time
- This data is used only to display storage trends and is not transmitted
- Historical storage data helps predict when you might run low on storage space
4.4 On-Device AI Processing
- Our AI features (such as image classification and duplicate detection) process data entirely on your device using Google ML Kit
- No image data or file contents are sent to external servers
- All AI processing happens locally using on-device machine learning models
- Google ML Kit processes images on-device and does not send your images to Google's servers
4.5 Scan Results and Analysis
- Results from junk file scans, duplicate photo detection, and other analyses are stored temporarily on your device
- These results are used only to display information to you within the app
- No scan results or analysis data are transmitted off your device
5. PERMISSIONS AND THEIR USAGE
The app may request certain permissions only for features you choose to use. Here's how we use each permission:
5.1 Storage/Photos Permissions (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE)
- Purpose: To scan for junk files, duplicate photos, videos, and messaging media
- Usage: Access is used only when you initiate a scan manually
- Data Handling: We do NOT read or upload file contents to our servers
- Scope: We only access files necessary for the scanning feature you requested
- You can deny these permissions and still use other features of the app
5.2 Usage Access Permission (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS)
- Purpose: To show unused-app information and battery usage statistics
- Usage: Data is used only on your device to display app usage statistics
- Data Handling: Usage statistics are processed locally and not transmitted
- This permission is optional and can be granted or denied in your device settings
- Required for: Unused App Analyzer and Battery Analyzer features
5.3 Notification Access Permission
- Purpose: To count how many notifications each app sends (optional feature)
- Usage: We do NOT read notification content; we only count notifications per app
- Data Handling: Notification counts are stored locally and not transmitted
- This is an optional feature that you can enable or disable in Settings
- Required for: Notification Manager feature
5.4 Background Process Management (KILL_BACKGROUND_PROCESSES)
- Purpose: To allow you to manually stop background processes in the Battery Analyzer feature
- Usage: Only used when you explicitly tap the "Turn off" button for a specific app
- Data Handling: No data is collected; this is a user-initiated action only
- This permission does not allow us to automatically stop processes
5.5 Notification Permission (POST_NOTIFICATIONS)
- Purpose: To send optional notifications about cleaning results or app updates
- Usage: Only used if you enable notifications in Settings
- Data Handling: No personal data is included in notifications
- You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings
- This permission is required on Android 13 (API 33) and later
